Basketball (K-1/G2-4_
- Drills designed to enhance control and confidence with ball handling, resounding, passing, and shooting
- Series of Fundamental Movement Training to build coordination and athleticism.

Vancouver Dance Academy- Discover Dance!
- Vancouver Academy of Dance is pleased to offer an After-school Dance Program at Chaoyin International School for the 2022-23 school year.
- Children will have the opportunity to explore different dance styles including: ballet, hip hop, k-pop, jazz and Chinese dance through this exciting introductory dance program specially designed for students of Chaoyin International School and taught by VAD’s distinguished faculty.
- The program will run once per week for the duration of the school year with 2 classes offered:
- Li’l Pandas: Grades K-1 Mighty Tigers: Grades 2-4
Vancouver Tai Chi/Kung Fu Martial Arts
- Our Traditional Kungfu classes teach discipline, confidence, and self defense. In addition, students will develop great coordination, speed, and power.
- There will also be a variety of fun martial arts related games to play in class. Each class will be 90 minutes.
- It will be divided into stretching, kicking, stances, Sanda (Chinese Shuaijuao、kickboxing), forms, and conditioning.
- Through the learning, students will benefit not only to enhance the health but also received great traditional culture knowledge – a valuable asset – in the process of growing up.
Global Alliance Education Arts – Visual Arts (K-1) (G2-4)
- Cartoon Drawing – Students can choose and draw their favourite cartoon characters in this class. While exploring their creativity, students develop basic drawing skills.
- Sketching – A key fundamental drawing skill. Students will be introduced to lines, tone and basic shading techniques with a focus on black and white imagery.
- Students are introduced to the basics of painting. The class will go over how to prepare canvases, clean brushes and handle acrylic paint.
Indigo Education – Public Speaking/Drama (K-1) (G2-4)
- This class is targeted towards students who are in Kindergarten up to grade 3, that want to improve their language skills and other social skills.
- Students will be taught through tongue twisters, poetry recitations, self-introductions, personal presentations, and mock interviews. These tools help them open their hearts, overcome their fears and break through the psychological barrier of stage fright.
- This course will encourage children to open themselves, know better about themselves, love themselves, express themselves, and thus be able to show their multiple facets with self-confidence.
- Children will rapidly boost their language skills through “three forces” – verbal expression, language expressive force, and stage performance.
- Children will become a confident individual that is able to stand on stage and show their personal style!
Indigo Education – Computer Coding (K-1) (G2-4)
- Introduction to key robotics and programming concepts
- Students will gain an understanding of core computer programming logic
- Students will improve their reasoning skills using robotic engineering context
